Mr. Iason Papadimitrakopoulos is a Junior Researcher and student in School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at National and Technical University of Athens.

He is a software developer specialized in server-side technologies, with several years of experience in backend system development.

His fields of expertise include JavaScript (ES6), relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server), HTML5/CSS, Client-Server Applications, REST API design, etc.

Currently engaged with his thesis, working on establishing trust between IoT devices by assigning them an identity on blockchain and communicating safely through smart contracts.

His research interests are concentrated in the field of blockchain, smart contracts and their utilization for establishing safe communication between IoT devices.
