We are excited to announce the launch of our new project THESEUS under the Hubs for circularity for industrialised urban peripheral areas (Processes4Planet partnership) (IA) TWIN GREEN AND DIGITAL TRANSITION 2024 call! 

We are very proud to collaborate with the Sanitary Engineering Laboratory - NTUA and Ass. Professor Simos Malamis playing pivotal roles to drive this extensive initiative, coordinated by I-SENSEGroup/ICCS.

THESEUS will foster a circular transition within Attica and other regions through five innovation pillars (IPs), ensuring a systemic holistic approach. These pillars include technical innovations, symbiotic flows, and closed-loop systems for water, energy, materials, digitalization, and robotics. Governance plays a key role, with the involvement of the Attica Region and Municipalities, enhanced by cross-sectoral collaboration.

IP1 will enhance cross-sectoral collaboration, replication, and integration with other HE projects and initiatives. It also aims to raise social awareness using novel technologies like AR. This transformation will benefit citizen health and contribute to the EU Cities Mission by helping Athens achieve climate neutrality and paving the way for other cities to follow.
